Idika Uche is a seasoned Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional with over 18 years of experience across the oil and gas, energy, infrastructure and logistics sectors, with extensive exposure to both onshore and offshore operations.
He has strong expertise in HSE management systems, risk assessment, process and facility safety, incident investigation, audits, Permit-to-Work systems, emergency response, HSE training and regulatory compliance. He is experienced in developing and implementing HSE policies, manuals, procedures and safety plans from project inception through execution.
Idika holds a B.Tech in Maritime Management Technology and is NEBOSH certified, with additional certifications and training in ISO 9001:2015 auditing, process safety management, emergency response, firefighting, first aid/CPR and gas testing. He is also a member of professional safety organisations.
Throughout his career, he has contributed to strengthening safety culture, improving compliance, supporting ISO management systems and developing HSE teams. His experience, technical knowledge and leadership capabilities make him a valuable professional for complex oil and gas, infrastructure and energy projects.
