He has held senior positions in the American oil corporation Mobil Oil Norway and was the Managing Director of a subsidiary of the german international chemical company Haltermann International Gmbh.
Further Mr.Bjørndal brings immense experience and leadership as owner and chairman of international aviation company Air Nordic AB and shipping container sale and lease company Transmare Sweden AB. Mr. Bjørndal has lived more than 20 years abroad, several of these years in Miami, USA from where he has managed his worldwide business activities.
Mr. Bjørndal holds a MBA from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and an Engineering degree in building and constructions from the Gothenburg Technical institute. He also holds a US Green Card since the late 1980s. He is married with children and grandchildren and lives in Oslo, Norway.
